Hello,
I have two synchronized slicers for 7 pages in a PowerBI report. The user selects two categories (one of them is YEAR) and everything is synchronized for him/her.
On two of the pages, I need to block the interactions of the synchronized YEAR slicer for a some line chart, in order to show trends over time, without showing the YEAR visualization in these pages.
My work-around now is to include the synchronized YEAR filter in the page and then block the interaction. This filter however is hidden underneath the bar charts. So, they are not directly visible to the user but I still do not want the YEAR filter to be included at all in the pages.
TLDR; is there a way to dictate the synchronized YEAR filter in a given page such that its interactions are blocked for one visualization, but applied for the remaining visualizations.
I attached two screenshots of my current solution for clarification.
Best!
