When I add a custom column I am able to get exactly what I want in my datetime (datetime without seconds) but as soon as I convert the type of custom column to datetime and end up again with seconds. How do I get rid of ss in datetime?
Thanks

Hi @stribor45
With/without seconds is the format, not "data type" .
You can modify it from the data view.
Choose one that you need from the list / you can also customize it manually

I want to remove the seconds within the power query editor not in the data view

Hi,
If you want to get rid of the time stamp from the entries in the Date column, then just change the Data Type of that column to Date.
I don't want to remove time from Date column. I want to keep it the same and just remove the seconds
