Remove a single blank row from a matrix

Good Afternoon,

I have created a matrix using two measures and a slicer, when one of the measures is <blank> I would like to hide just this row leaving the other measure visable, is this possible?

Example without blanks:

Count  6

Average 3

Example with Blanks:

Count 6

Average

What I would like to see, when there is a blank:

Count 6

Hoepfullythis makes sense?

hi, @Anonymous

To my knowledge, I'm pretty sure there isn't an elegant way to do this at this time.

Here are some related ideas you can vote and comment on to add your support to encourage Microsoft to fix this limitation:

Hide/Show Column on Table

Show/Hide columns in report based on expression.

Power BI hide/show column

and here is a workaround that you may refer to:

Create a separate dim table just with measure name as below:

1.JPG

Then create another measure:

Measure = IF(SELECTEDVALUE('Table'[Type])="Average",[Average] ,IF(SELECTEDVALUE('Table'[Type])="Count",[Count]))

Now drag the field Type from this new table and this new measure into a visual.

and here is sample pbix file, please try it.

Try using the Filters pane to select the measure in questions and apply a filter of 'is not blank'.

This filters the complete matrix, not just the row that I am interested in so I end up with no rows at all
