I have two files: employees and deductions. I'm trying to pull deduction transactions for the file of employees. When there is no match, I'm not seeing the employee on the report. I want to see the employee, whether there are transactions or not!
Is cardinality the problem? I have it set in the model with one:one cardinality and 'both' for cross-filter direction.
Or am I supposed to be controlling this in the query editor by merging the two tables?

Hi @Anonymous
Can you please try to put single way filter from Deduction table to Employee table
and
in the table visual, can you add "Show item with No Data" for the deduction table field

Thank you! I appreciate the help.
I guess I have something else going on, because it's now taking forever to refresh the data. And I get an error: “The operation was cancelled because of locking conflicts”
