Related function and specific text

Hi,

I am trying to search a specific text in a related column. This is not working in some way. I think this had something to do that related function can only lookup values instead of text. However I do not know the specific code.

Can somebody help?

Hi @Anonymous,

The related function is not used to search text, it's used to return a value from another table so youe expression should look something like this:

Planner_action =
IF (
    AND (
        RELATED ( XXBI_ITEMS_MV[RELEASE_TIME_FENCE_TYPE] ) = "Item total lead time",
        [COMPRESSION_DAYS] = 0
    ),
    "Manual_Release",
    "Auto_Release"
)

Just one questionis the Compression_days a column or a measure? If it's a measure this will not work since the use of measure in columns due to lack of context don't have the expected result.
