Refreshing data - temporary duplicates

Hi, 

I have a data table "Temporary Data" which loads data from a website (dates for running past 90 days). One of the columns is a "date"

Then I have a data table "Data" which is supposed to:

- get all data from "Temporary Data"

- remove duplicates

 

One of the columns is "data"

"Data" table is connected to "dates" table while columns "dates" are connected...

 

I also have a time table.

But, when I hit a refresh button, there is an error since the Data" table contains a duplicates values

I need "something" which tells the POWER BI - "suppress the error" wait till the "Data" table removes duplicates and then keep the connections.

 

Thanks in advance for any help.

Make sure you add a step to remove duplicate rows for "Data" table in Query Editor.

You must keep unique values in column used for building relationship.

Check to make sure there are no blanks.  This often causes the error you are seeing.
