i updated my source data and it took all the new data without error. however my dashboard is not updating. can someone please help me. There are no numbers in my data, could that be a reason at all?
@homils40,
Firstly, ensure that you have set refresh for your dataset in Power BI Service. Gateway may be required in your scenario.
Secondly, changes will not be immediately applied in dashboard once data changes. We need to wait about fifteen minutes for refresh to be reflected in the dashboard tiles. And you can force a tile refresh by selecting the ellipsis (...) in the upper right of a dashboard and selecting Refresh dashboard tiles.
Thirdly, please ensure that you pin individual visuals rather than live page to dashboard. Automatic refreshing live page tiles is currently not supported by Power BI.
Regards,
Lydia
Well - dashboard is PBI Service. This is PBI Desktop and so if you've refreshed data into the desktop - then you still need to refresh up to service.
