Refresh timeout

Hi

What can I do to prevent timeouts when I refresh in Power BI Desktop (See picture below). It happens after 40-50 min.

The data source is an Azure SQL Database.

hi @amitchandak

It should have said "Azure table storage"

Because it seems easy to increase the timeout time with sql, but not with the table storage databases.

Yes i do and sometimes i can refresh, but other times i get the error message.

@Anonymous that's why I didn't suggest to check the timeout option because I saw you are using Azure Table. I believe it has something to do with your internal connectivity and latency. The Azure data center is in the same region where you are trying to access these tables, maybe it is a latency issue.

Overall it looks like a network problem than anything else.

I would  Kudos if my solution helped. 👉 If you can spend time posting the question, you can also make efforts to give Kudos whoever helped to solve your problem. It is a token of appreciation!
