Refresh only a part of the table based on a flag

Hi there,

Is there a possibility to have a static table in PBI which will updated only with a flag that i will set.

Let me give an example to understand what i mean.

I have a table with sales, a sale can open today and close after one month, so i have a flag that indicates if a sale is open or closed.

In the sales table i have milions of rows so the refresh is taking too much time and i need also the historical data for the report that i want to build.

So my goal is to load once all the historical data with all sales which have status as closed and when i refresh i will refresh only the open sales. So the perfect scenario would be , let's say that i have a refresh every 2 hours, in the same table the resfresh will be executed only the sales with status open and the rest no.

But if this is not possible another one scenario that could work for me is that one, create a table in pbi with only closed sales and when a sale close automatically go to this table which will be static and refresh only the table with open sales.

Would this be possible ? I read something about incremental refresh but i am not sure if that's work for me.

Thanks in advance.
