Refresh Error in Power BI Service

Dears,

Since long time I'm facing the below error in PBI service while it's going smoothly in the desktop app.

"Column '<pii>CUSTOMER_KEY</pii>' in Table '<pii>STG_SFC_VW_EBS_CUST_BT</pii>' contains a duplicate value '<pii>19273</pii>' and this is not allowed for columns on the one side of a many-to-one relationship or for columns that are used as the primary key of a table"

Hi @amitchandak

Actually i went through your suggested steps with no benifit. There is no dublication in the fields and the refreshing working fine on PBI file but in the PBI service is not refreshing ata all.

Hi @wmostafa ,

Are you using incremental refresh? If so, then the historical data may be duplicated with the data in the refresh range, which causes this error. And the same error may not exist in Desktop.
If not, please try deleting the dataset on Service and re-publishing it to see if it refreshes successfully.

If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information or the expected result you expect. Let me know immediately, looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards,
Winniz

@wmostafa , In the given table STG_SFC_VW_EBS_CUST_BT for the column CUSTOMER_KEY value 19273 is coming 2 times. Check data at source. Or try run refresh once again manually

Or open power bi file, refresh this table and check if you get this error
