Hi guys i need your help in this.
I created a few dashboards for my company (Power BI Premium capacity) but the IT uses one main profile as a scheduler.
For security reasons as a department we don’t want to give access in this account, so we are not able to schedule updates for our dashboards.
Could you please give me an advice how i could set a solution to refresh the data (sql server - power query) daily.
I have already registered a power automate license. I created a refresh data api button, but it seems not to work properly when a colleague (they have access on dashboard and dataset too - not in DB) press the button.
any suggestion how I could solve this it would be helpful 🙂
any help?
Hello @Anonymous
the idea with flows is good, I created a simple one like this:
- Trigger : Recurrence
- Data Set update
I will make a screenshot once I could switch my brwoser to english...
