Recursive calculation - Workaround?

Hey guys,

I've been stucked in a problem for a few days and I need help.

I want to create a measure to calculates recursively the price for n current Month.

My formula is the same as below:

PriceN = PriceN(month-1)*Lambda + (1-Lambda)*Price(month-1)

Example:

Can anyone help me please to solve this problem within Power BI?

Thanks in advance

Hey @Anonymous ,

in this blog i describe how table iterators can be used to overcome the lack of recursive capabilities, maybe you will find this useful: Using Table Iterators to calculate a future value - Mincing Data - Gain Insight from Data (minceddata.info)

Hopefully, this helps to tackle your challenge.

Regards,

Tom
