Recover data from a web page with connection

Hi !

I want to use data from web page who have a login page. I explain what i did step by step.

1. I choose data from Web
2. I put my url
3. I choose connexion : Base like this -> picture with my id and password.
4. I have this error message -> picture 
5. I close the message
6. Power Bi Desktop infinite search and don't do anything

Because of the error message i test in anonymous but i'm block on the loging page of the website.

I don't know what i can do to use this data. I need yours help.

The old Web connector used Web.Page , which supports non-anonymous credentials. While the new Web connector uses Web.BrowserContents , which only supports anonymous credentials. You can continue to use Web.Page via M if you like, and any old queries that use Web.Page will continue functioning. If you want to switch back to the old Web connector, you can disable the "New web table inference" preview feature in the Options dialog.

Hi. Scrapping data from a website is not something you can do in every site. There are copyrights. Usually the web sites with login you shouldn't do that. I think that's one of the reasons why Power Bi can't use web connector for webs with login. The web connector will check html of the url you provide. It can't send your user and password. If the web site want the users to take data, it will have some export button or API to take it.

Please check one of those last options for the website. Otherwise I don't think you will be able to scrapp it with web connector.
