Hello,
Perhaps bad practice but i have made many changes to a dataset in power bi desktop using the Power Query Editor - Replace Values button. I have since discovered that a colleague has updated the source data and i now wish to reconcile the changes to ensure that i do not lose all my changes.
I am considering exporting the data and comparing it with the source in Excel - but i wonder if there isn't a better approach for this in Power BI?
Many thanks
All the changes done in edit query mode are recorded and can be reversed. You can check those on the right pane. Or create a copy of the table and revert the changes in original copy and use intersection and except to help you
Can you expand on how i would use intersection and except to help me with the reconcile?
