Real time streaming SQL data

Hello, 
I am a newbie to Power BI,  tried to explore the option of real-time streaming using Power BI with available sources online. Could someone help with step by step guidance for real time streaming of SQL data? Please help me with the query to extract data from SQL database and feed the data to power BI using API.

i know this isnt a direct answer, but I saw plenty of youtube videos and online articles. 

 

Streaming Data in Power BI Without Writing Code!

check out youtube videos as well. much easier to see how people are setting up the streaming in BI
