Hi everyone,
I am new to Power BI and have a request from my manager, but I can not find a solution. I would appreciate your help.
The request is simple; I have a bar chart of the top 10 sale people,
And I will apply the RLS on the dataset. On my y_axis, I would like to show that person's name, and the ranking for other there doesn't have access to that role.
For example:
1
2
3
Micheal
5
6
7
8
9
10
I would apprecihelpny help. Thank you.
Hi, @chinh_ho
Are you referring to wanting everyone to only see their own ranking data?

Hi v-easonf-msft,
Thank you for your reply. I want to show whoever has access to the RLS can see their own name and other people ranking number(hide other people name)
Hi, @chinh_ho
RLS is often used to restrict user access to data.
It can be seen as a filtering of the data rather than simply making the data invisible.
Data masking of other people's names is difficult to achieve through RLS.
