Hi,
Hi everyone,
I've got 2 separate datasets connected via directquery: Stock Actual and Sales.
On the datasets via directquery there is no RLS.
In both datasets the column on which I would like to implement the RLS exists and it's called store_code.
Then, I've imported the table store_md (import mode) which contains info and dimensions on the granularity: store_code.
I connected the three tables on the column store_code.
I've tried to create roles on the store_masterdata but it doesn't work on service:
the store masterdata has been correctly filtered but the tables via directquery not.
Any idea what can be done here?
Thanks in advance.

I solved this issue by creating a measure and using it in the object filter.

Hi @cortazzi ,
In the composite Model you have the shared dataset + the report datase
You need to define security as follow:
Shared Dataset as Viewer+Build
Report dataset as Viewer
Below is the link will help you:
Setting the right permissions for users of composite models - SQLBI
