RLS Question

I have set up RLS on my powerBI report. I then published it to my workspace and added the RLS permissions to the security tab of the dataset. The RLS permissions are Active Directory groups that contain users.

When i share the link to the report the users are saying the get the "request access" screen although they are in the relevant group applied to RLS.

Question: Do you I need to add the groups as read only to the report as well? If not, why would RLS not be working (i have checked and they are not admins/build access on the workspace)?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello @PowerBINoob12 ,

try giving viewer access to the workspace of the report for these users.
