I noticed, if I change the relationship to Many-to-Many, the Related function gives an error, see below. Is it because RELATED Function works from Many side to one side, and if the table being referenced is on the many side, RELATED Function can't return a unique value?
If I change, the relationship to Many-to-one, I get the correct results in Calculated Column.
Can anybody please advise?

Yes, you are right. RELATED funciton assumes you are on the MANY side of a relationship and it points to the ONE side to retrieve, well, ONE value.
