RE: Removing data labels on line in clustered column chart

Hi,

I have a column chart with a line that indicates the trend of % scores over time. Refer to the figure below:

Fidezuri1990_0-1726629041766.png

I tried to remove one of the data labels as they are showing the same values (shown by the orange arrows above), but I cannot find any option to do it.

The source of data for both columns and line are the same, but they are displayed differently.

How can I display just one of the data labels (i.e. doesnt matter which one either the line data label or column data label) as I just need one label for each month, but still showing both columns and line?

Please assist. Thank you.

Hi @Fidezuri1990
To have the option to format these measures in a different way you need them to be 2 separate measures.
So, create another measure referencing the first and use one for line, and the second for columns.

thank you @Ritaf1983 - I created a Sum formula, and use it as the different measure. Awesome!

Happy to help 🙂

@Fidezuri1990 , select a series and disable the label for that

Hi @amitchandak ,

That would work if they are different series. Unfortunately, mine is the same series, but are displayed differently (one is column and the other is chart). Thanks for your advise.
