Hi,
I am trying to rank sales quarter as per below. My data set has product column but I only want to rank sales quarter.
Ideal output:
| Sales Quarter | Product | Rank |
| 22-Q4 | A | 1 |
| 22-Q4 | B | 1 |
| 23-Q1 | C | 2 |
| 23-Q1 | D | 2 |
When I apply below DAX: RANKX('Calendar',Calendar[Sale Quarter],,ASC )
Power BI rank all the row as per below table.
| Sales Quarter | Product | Rank |
| 22-Q4 | A | 1 |
| 22-Q4 | B | 1 |
| 23-Q1 | C | 3 |
| 23-Q1 | D | 3 |
Is it possible to rank value based on sales quarter only? or I must create separate calendar table? Thanks for your help!

@irenelitw629 , Try with dense option
RANKX('Calendar',Calendar[Sale Quarter],,ASC,dense )
