R Script Date issues in Power Query

Hi Experts and Power BI SUperuser

 

can someone shed some light on the following issue: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Issues/Problems-with-dates-when-using-R-Script-in-Power-Query/idi-p...

 

Kindly refer to the above link. Is this still an on going issue in Power Query or has a work around and or solution been found to this.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Based on my test, I am afraid the problem is still a limitation for R script in Power BI, you could set the date column as Text and use the R script, it will work for your data:
