Quick question about slicers and pages

Does a slicer affect subsequent pages to a power bi dashboard?  I have a demographics data dashboard that uses Fiscal Year as a slicer and need to make a second page and just wondering if that slicer on page 1 also affects the data on page 2.

No affect.

Victor, so I would need to copy that slicer over to page 2 then and I will assume that a slicer affects only the data for that page that it is on.

EveryPage is independent, if you slice in one of this not apply to others. 

So if you need the page 2 or another have the functionality to slice the data. Yes you can copy & Paste the slicer. Or create another one.
