Hi, I have a question on filtering:
My report is comprised of two datasets: one fact table which contains master records and one table that contains my dimensions. My dimension table has a number of measures on it and one of the measures is called "onrentcount". The actual report itself has a filter on it so that only items with onrentcount = 0 appear, but this filter does not change the item fact filter. I am not sure if this is possible and I'm not even sure what to ask - is it possible to filter the results of a filter based on the data the filter is supposed to be filtering?
For reference, the relationship between my fact and dimension table is a many:1 and it goes in both directions.
How is your "onrentcount" measure written? Can you share the DAX?
You may not use a calculated measure as a slicer on a report or a page, to filter rows of data. Try adding a calculated column instead.
