Question on Data Set-up With Start and End Dates

So I am mapping project locations with "Start Work Order Dates" and with "Projected Project Completion End Dates" they have a unique identifier with a project number lets says the following:

601137.00 Start Day 01/01/2025 End Date 12/01/2028

601138.00 Start Day 01/01/2026 End Date 12/01/2029

601139.00 Start Day 01/01/2027 End Date 12/01/2030

How can I see this up using a date filter to where if the date is set between 01/01/2024 and 12/05/2025 only the first project will show up but if i expanded it to 04/01/2026 the next project will appear on the map as active.

I can link to overarching calendar field but that will not work in theory since multiple dates are accounted here.  Bsaically, what i want is if I select year "2025" any project that falls whose start and end dates fall between 1/1/2025 and 12/31/2025 would show on map.

That make sense?

Thanks this works in formula form; additional question.  In terms of mapping on a grip in form of lat and longhow could I incorporate the "active project field" to carry over to a map of locations. ie. if shows as a count of 1 for project it appears on map if 0 the segment is not highlighted.
