Two different source files for Budget & Actual. In data modelling they are connected using Dates.
Output:
First table BU is from Budget file - and the distribution of Budget amount is correct but Actual distribution is not right it is repeating the values. (31,667.98)
Second Table BA is from Actual file - and the distribution of Actual is correct but Budget distribution is not right it is repeating the values . (37,049.96)
Note : In source file Actual we have part number wise data where as in Budget source file we have BU wise data.
The model is flawed. Please change it before you start having huuuuuuge problems with this. Star schema is what you want; fact tables should NEVER be connected directly to each other. Never. It's the best piece of advice I can give you based on experience.
