Query Rest API in PowerBI.

For a customer I work on a PBI report where I query data from a Rest API in PowerBI.

I wonder if this queries directly to the RestAPI is good architecture or if I should consider to pull data into a datawarehouse with Synpase or similar.

Thoughts?

Hey @KjoniX2 ,

as always - it depends!

The information you provided is too scarce as that it is possible to provide a general architectural guidance.

Provide information if the response varies over time in regards to number of "rows" or JSON documents. If you want to analyze this change, bla, bla, bla

Outline the scope of the project you are working on.

Regards,

Tom
