Hi,
Ive got a report i was developing with the apply button for each slicer enabled for dev purposes. Its ready to go to production now but i cannot remove the apply buttons.
If i untick the add apply button and click instantly apply basic filter changes it does nothing to the report and saving and reopening the report does nothing either. The button seems to be permanently enabled so the report cannot go to production now.
Ive outlined the stuck options below.

Neither response is a solution, remaking the report from scratch isnt an option/solution. Microsoft will need to fix the bug.

If rebuilding the report is not a feasible workaround and this appears to be a product limitation or bug, I recommend submitting your detailed feedback and ideas through Microsoft's official feedback channels. Feedback submitted through these channels is frequently reviewed by the product teams and can contribute to meaningful improvements.

This seems to be a bug. I have a report where I tried applying query reduction but the apply button didnt appear after modifying a filter in the filter pane. Apply buttons dont also show up in the slicers after selecting a different value.
Reopening the file doesn’t help, making it seem like the setting is permanently enabled. This is preventing the report from being finalized for production. The issue appears to be a bug, especially since the button behavior persists even after following standard steps to disable it. Updating Power BI, clearing the cache, or rebuilding the report in a fresh PBIX file might be potential workarounds if it’s not addressed in a newer version. |
