Query DATE parameter

Hi all!

In Power BI we have ability to set some parameters here: Home > Edit queries > Edit parameters.

Thats good feature, but when its DATE parameter, it looks and works like simple text input field.

As for me, it would be quite better to make there normal date input field, with calendar.

Does anyone know is that in developers plans? Will it be realized?

@Ister I believe it will come with future enhancements as we've seen with other MS bi tools (SSRS) data parameter always had date picker. As far as if it is in development only MS insider would be able to tell you. but i would suggest to post it as an idea here for it to get noticed.

Also when creating a date parameter the following does not work

current value = DateTime.Date(DateTime.LocalNow())

It really seems I can only manually enter date values
