Hi all,
With calculation group, how should we write DAX or setup for time intelligence analysis using multiple dates table (e.g. sales date, purchase date, inventory date)
For example (YTD Calculation) :CALCULATE(SELECTEDMEASURE(), DATESYTD(DimDate[Date]))
Can DimDate[Date]) be dynamic? What is the most efficient solution?
Thanks for your suggestion.
HI @crossboy,
Time intelligence functions required a calendar table with active relationships.
If you want to use date fields form other tables to interact with current measure formula, you need to confirm they existed active relationships.
If you can't confirm the relationship mapping, I'd like to suggest you change to use date functions that allow you manually defined and filtered on the table that your formula calculated.

@crossboy , Check if,you can create inactive relation in the tabular edition. In Power BI we create multiple relations with date table and dates in fact and use userelation to activate them.
