Good!
Why could it be that a file published online runs much slower than in the desktop version?
It works perfectly on the desktop and does all the calculations fast, but once published everything becomes much slower.
Thank you!

Hi @Syndicate_Admin ,
In the powerbi service, there are many factors that can affect the query response time. Network latency, different browsers, the dax function itself. Even different connection modes can have an impact.
Refer to.
You can check the following:
1. Clear your browser cache, cached data in your browser can sometimes cause performance issues. Clear the cache and try to access the published file again.

2. Check the file size and content, make sure the file size is optimized, remove unnecessary data or reduce the file size as much as possible, complex formulas, large data sets can also cause slowdowns, you can optimize the complexity of Dax.

3. You can put Excel into the database, use Direct Query mode to connect, so that when running directly query the database, and Import connection mode in the latest data when you get the latest data, you need to load the latest data from the local to replace the previous data.

4. Check the network connection, network delays can also lead to slow running.

Good! I have a PRO license and the connection is in import mode to different excel
@Syndicate_Admin , Sially Publish version should run faster. Is it a direct query connection or an Import mode connection?
Type of License?
