Publish to Workspace issue

Hi Everyone,
I've encountered something that's a bit confusing. I was logged in with User A and could see that user’s workspaces. Then, I signed in with another account, User B, from a different tenant. However, when I tried to publish the report, I could still see the workspaces from both User A and User B.

Is this expected behavior, or could it be a bug?

Hi @MuradMusleh_YE ,

As far as I know, Power BI doesn't support us to share workspace to external users.

Please make sure the tenant of two accounts are different.

You can also check whether the workspace names in two tenants are similar.

Here I have test in local Power BI Desktop, and it works well. My accounts in two different tenants could only see the workspace in their own.

If this reply still couldn't help you solve your issue, please show us more details about your tenant name and the screenshot of the workspace in two tenants.

Best Regards,
Rico Zhou

Thanks, @Bibiano_Geraldo I talking about the Power BI desktop, not the service.

Hi @MuradMusleh_YE !

What you’re experiencing can indeed be confusing. When you switch between accounts in Power BI, especially across different tenants, it’s possible that the browser session retains some information from the previous login. This might cause workspaces from both accounts to appear. Sometimes, the browser cache and cookies can retain session information from previous logins. Try to use an incognito or private browsing window, this can help ensure that no session data is carried over from previous logins. This can provide a clean slate for each login

I hope this helps! 
