Program that pulls data regularly from QuickBooks

How can I learn how to build a program that pulls data regularly from QuickBooks Hosting? Are there programs that do the pulling automatically that I could build on top of?

That is a virtual desktop. You'd need the ability to install an app on the desktop to read your Quickbooks file. Not sure

  1. such a program exists and
  2. doubt your cloud host provider would let you install it if it did.

The on prem gateway from Microsoft does not support quickbooks. Power BI does support Quickbooks Online, but not Quickbooks Hosted.
