Problem with opening document

Hi all,
I tried to open some file in my Power BI desktop, but the error message is: "FileName.pbix" is incompatible with your current version of Microsoft Power BI Desktop. Please install the latest vesrion and try opening the document again.

The question is how can I update trial version? I can only use trial or online Microsoft 365 student account. The problem with student account is that Desktop looks so different and it is so difficult to me to work with.

You need to have admin right to install/update power bi desktop on your machine.

@Anonymous , I think you should be able to install power bi from app store. You can work without login unless you want to publish a file.
