Problem with numeric fields

Hi, good afternoon.

A very strange problem happened with my Data Set : All the numeric fields I had in all the tables in my Model don't show the

rmcpdias_0-1628696467978.pngicon anymore an I can't use them in Value fields of any Visualizations. All the Visualizations I had created before are working, but I cannot create new ones.  The columns maintain the correct type:

Hi @Anonymous,

Based on my test, l can not reproduce your issue in my environment.

Could you provide your pbix after removing sensitive information? I will check it in my environment.

If you still have some question, please don't hesitate to let me known.‌‌

Best Regards,

Hi, good morning.

I've alreay managed to solve it. I used a backup from a couple of weeks ago that was still correct and did I redid all the changes. It took a while, but now everything is OK. Thanks!

Anyone else you can help me with this?

Doing what you've been doing, that is putting fields from tables in visuals and then applying an aggregation to them, is a sign you don't understand the principles of good design and the philosophy behind PBI. I'll give you a piece of good advice (actually the best you can get). For all the aggregations you have in your reports create concrete measures and use them instead. You'll thank me later.

Please take time to learn how to do things in PBI the right way. You'll save yourself a lot of grief and pulled-out hairs later down the line. SERIOUSLY.

Thanks for the advice, but you did not answer my question 🙂

You should thank God for what's happened to your columns. Just do what I said to do and you won't have to worry about your columns not showing this or that. In fact, I did much more for you than just answering your question. I really mean it. But now it's up to you to act wisely or persist in stubbornness.
