I have two slicers and a bar chart. I would like to show the bar chart only and only when there is a selction on both slicers. So for that I created a DAX function as below:
ADD_Filter Condition = if (HASONEFILTER(SQL_SEEKUT_TX_UNDRGRD_GRAD_WAGE_LOAN[CIP6Title])&& ISFILTERED(SQL_SEEKUT_TX_UNDRGRD_GRAD_WAGE_LOAN[inst_name]), "Yes", "No")
I added the ADD_Filter_condition to the barchart filter and put the condition that it would show the chart when it is equal to "Yes":
Now, the chart shows when I select the first and second slicer and turns off when I select the first not the second slicer but the problem is that it doesn't work when I select the second one not the first one. I added a card visual below the bar chart to show that what ADD_Filter_Condtion has when I select the second slicer and not the first one(the case that filter doesn't work) and it says the values is NO so naturally the bar should not show up but it does. I can't wrap my head around this and it seems like a bug. Does anyone have any idea about this? (Below is the screenshot of different cases)
The case that works:
It works also when both are selected:
This is the case that it doesn't work ( the second one is only selected):
Try HASONEVALUE instead of HASONEFILTER at the beginning of your measure.
Hope this helps
David
