I have a Power BI report that uses a SharePoint List as a source.
One of the SharePoint fields is of type "Hyperlink or Picture". The intent is to display the contents of this field as a clickable link using the Web URL Data Category.
The contents of this field can be any URL. For non-SharePoint URLs, everything works as expected, and the clickable link image is displayed in the field for that record.
In our use case, this is sometimes a link to a SharePoint Document Library item in the same tenant. In SharePoint, the full URL is displayed as entered. However, Power BI only returns the relative URL for it, which does not result in a clickable link.
Is there any way to change the behaviour of the query so that the "https://randomtenant.sharepoint.com" portion of the URL is not stripped?
Did you ever get a solution to this? We're running into the exact same issue and it's really annoying.
