I am trying to use ESRI ArcGIS maps in PowerBi and have been successful in implementing the desired operations. However, when I try to publish the report, I am unable to validate it since I am not using coordinates for mapping the quantities to locations on the map. I am instead using the country name in the location field to create a choropleth. But if I try to embed and publish the map, I get the following error:
So, I geocoded the countries and added their latitude and longitudes instead of using the name of the country. Now when I try to publish the same report, I cannot get a choropleth and instead circles are imprinted on the countries. Can I get a choropleth instead?
Hi @whatsinaname,
Click the red marker to display the error details to view information about the error.
Correct the errors in the map, save the report, and then run the embed and publish checks again.
