Problem while using first nonblank DAX expression

Hello Team,

 

I'm looking for solutions for the below issue,

 

based on estimated date and contractnumber I'm pulling the data in to the other table(I tried look up but not working so tried first non blank) , so here is output looks.
But what I am expecting is the item name should continue to populate till the next change in Itemname..

Please help.

You may create a calendar table and then new the table as below:

Table 2 =
SELECTCOLUMNS (
    FILTER (
        GENERATE ( Table1, 'Calendar' ),
        Table1[Date] <= 'Calendar'[_Date]
            && Table1[Next_date] > 'Calendar'[_Date]
    ),
    "ID", Table1[ID],
    "Date", 'Calendar'[_Date],
    "Stage", Table1[Stage]
)

It seems you may try to use GENERATE function.Could you explain more about your expected output?If you need further help,please follow the How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly to post your simple assumed data and expected output.
