As shown in the image, I'm having a hard time rendering my map properly in POWER BI, the tool I'm using is "shape map".
1. I'm adding the attribute table as xlsx.
2. I choose shape map and place one of the values from my xlsx in the Location space.
3. I format the visual, select custom map, and add my Topojson.
4. The result is the image I show you.
I have several hypotheses regarding such as that the georeference of my topojson is not the same as the one that power bi uses, another of my hypotheses is that the coordinates of my vertices are not correctly georeferenced, and the last hypothesis is that my topojson has too many vertices (it is a map of my country with all the states).
If someone has encountered this situation it would be very useful if you could show me how to correct this, my working tool is QGIS and I used mapshaper to convert my SHP. to Topojson to be able to use it in PowerBI.
Thank you in advance.
most likely the wrong projection. Try switching that.
