I have tried the 2 measures below and both return blank. The Actuals and Date Table Indep are connected by ME Date and Date, both of which are Date Type. I have tried marking my dates_table Indep as a 'DATE TABLE' and unmarking. Neither works. I have CYTd and PYTD Measures for the same thing, and they work. What could I be missing?
Option 1: Industry $$ PY = calculate(sum('Industry Actuals $$'[Actual]),DATESYTD(DATEADD('Dates_Table Indep'[Date],-1,YEAR),"12/31"))
Option 2: Industry $$ PY = calculate(sum('Industry Actuals $$'[Actual]),PREVIOUSYEAR('Dates_Table Indep'[Date]))
Thanks
