Previous Month

Hello, I have a DAX formula that brings back the sum for the latest month. How would I return the sum for the previous month?

Latest month

_Headcount Latest =

CALCULATE (

    sum('FACT - Headcount'[Volume]),

    LASTDATE ('FACT - Headcount'[Date])

)

i have tried this but it does not work: 

_Headcount PM =

CALCULATE (

    [_Headcount Latest],

    PREVIOUSMONTH( ( 'DIM - Date Table'[Date] )

))

CALCULATE(
    [_Headcount Latest],
    DATEADD('Date'[Date], -1, MONTH)
)
