Powerbi Desktop Report Builder - How to remove time from date parameter

Hello,

Just trying to display date only and not date/time in my report parameter that is pulling date from my dataset. I have already transformed my dataset on the backend to show date only but PowerBi Report Builder parameter continues to show both date and time. Any thoughts and thanks in advance!

Hi v-yangliu-msft,

Unfortunately, none of these seem relative to what I am trying to do. See below and think the solution is to update date format within the dataset query. I cannot find the syntax for converting date to short date. Any thoughts?

I think I need to convert the date within the Evaluate Summarizecolumns query....

EVALUATE SUMMARIZECOLUMNS('Dataset'[TestDate])

Forgot to add that my datasource is Sharepoint Online so not able to use standard SQL and date function in the query
