PowerKPI Matrix category

Hi,

I have a set of data with column based metrics and I have another table with the category associated with the metrics.

I followed the instruction in the PowerKPI Matrix 2.0.0.0 file but failed to create the relationship between two tables.

Can anyone please help?

@ceceliakuek please provide screenshots with what you doing, giving an example of your expected result, this post is not very clear

@ceceliakuek in query editor you can unpivot the kpi columns of table 1 into rows and then they will be combinedinto one column and you can link them up..

so highlight the columns in query editor, from teh tranform menu select unpivot

@vanessafvg in that case my metrics would be appeared in rows rather than column and I would not be able to perform calculated column / measures.

is there any way if i want to remain it as column based metrics?

I am referring to the PowerKPI Matrixfile in below link and I am stuck when i am about to create relationship.

@ceceliakuek  why would it remain in rows, when you build a measure you can just specify in your calculate for which KPI it is.  

ie KPI 1 = 
CALCULATE ( SUM ( table[value] ), kpitype = "kpi1" )

the other way of doing this is denormalising your table one and just adding a column with the information you need from table 2 which i am assuming is the kpi category via a conditional statement
