PowerBi ranking by alphabet order and display its rank in table

Hi all,

I had a requirement for displaying names sorted order and display its serial number.

Also if slicer comes into picture the rank should be in a sequence from 1 to......

Thanks in advance.

Ex:Apple  1 

    Banana 2

    Cat 3

Dog 4

If slicer is animal type:

Cat 1

Dog 2

@nagasaikumarb22 , have a unique sequence column like with sort order taken care at animal and fruit level  and then mark that as sort column
