PowerBi Column Totals Discrepancy Inquiry

Hi,

I've tried to read multiple articles on this issue but I'm looking for a more direct answer. I'm trying to understand why my total values number showcases a different value when I manually sum up the values. The value is a distinct count of patients. I show a total of 52,909 but when manually summed it comes closer to 98k. I'm just looking for clarity as to which is correct. Thank you,

What are you showing us here?

Is 98,109 the number you expect to see at the bottom of the ReferrredPatients Total column? In which case it looks like a standard 'measure totals' issue and could possibly be explained by the same patient being in more than one location name.

I would need to see the data model plus the exact definition of the measure used (also the measure on the right).

These things are obviously easier to track down with a smaller data sample where you can focus on the arithmetic to find the discrepancy.
