I have an Excel file saved to a OneDrive folder for use with my PowerBI desktop.
Since July 10 it has not been updating the PBIX data and I can't figure out why.
I hadn't changed any settings or done anything other than the usual updating of the Excel file itself.
I tried to change the connection to a virtual one using the sharepoint address of the file in Excel but I get an error message saying the remote connection cannot be resolved.
I'm at a loss how to move forward.

Fixed it.
Turns out my VMware fusion install of Windows wasn't connecting to the Internet.
Got that fixed then was able to run through the connection guide here:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-use-onedrive-business-links
Worked like a charm.
