PowerBI as data source

Hi

Can I use an existing PowerBI dataset siting on Report Server  as my data source? I think the answer is Yes but I need to be able to add other datasets to do further manipulation etc...

 

Is this achievable?

In Power BI desktop, it is available to connect to the datasets hosted on Power BI Service. However, it is not supported to refer to data source sitting on Power BI Report Server or SSRS Report Server.

Are you referring to the ability in PBI Desktop to do Get Data | Power BI service?
