Good day all,
pls i am new to powerbi and currently doing an internship, i have a task i am struggling with and need any help/Insight
This is my table and i will like to do some Dax measure to create report
1. i am required to get the % of all dispute for the zone, The % of submissions that are in dispute, % resolved and % added.
2. I am also required to explain the growth in the dispute, for instance if the Conflict in Calgary increased in a month, which is as a result of more submissions in the month, I dont know how to put this in visual
3. % of state with the highest Conflict in their Submission( I have a state table which is not included here cos the names are specific).
Pls i would be glad to get any insight, i have struggled with this all weekend.
@Odada , For % of total refer , assuming you already have measure submission
submission% = divide([submission], calculate([submission], allselected()) )
or
submission% = divide([submission], calculate([submission], removefilters(Table[Zone] )) )

You can use time intelligence and date table for MOM
MTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD('Date'[Date]))
last MTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD(dateadd('Date'[Date],-1,MONTH)))
last month Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),previousmonth('Date'[Date]))
MTD Sales = CALCULATE(SUM(Sales[Sales Amount]),DATESMTD('Date'[Date]))
Time Intelligence, Part of learn Power BI https://youtu.be/cN8AO3_vmlY?t=27510
Time Intelligence, DATESMTD, DATESQTD, DATESYTD, Week On Week, Week Till Date, Custom Period on Period,
Custom Period till date: https://youtu.be/aU2aKbnHuWs&t=145s
For 3rd you can use Index or topn
TOPN: https://youtu.be/QIVEFp-QiOk
TOPN with Numeric Parameter -https://youtu.be/cN8AO3_vmlY?t=26448
Power BI Index function: Top/Bottom Performer by name and value- https://youtu.be/HPhzzCwe10U
Thanks will check this and revert
@Odada Sorry, having trouble following, can you post sample data as text and expected output?
Not really enough information to go on, please first check if your issue is a common issue listed here: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/Before-You-Post-Read-This/ba-p/1116882
Also, please see this post regarding How to Get Your Question Answered Quickly: https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Community-Blog/How-to-Get-Your-Question-Answered-Quickly/ba-p/38490
The most important parts are:
1. Sample data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
2. Expected output from sample data
3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
