PowerBI Direct Query for REST API (endpoints from SQL Server)

Hello!

I have a requirement to setup DIRECT query data connection for SQL SERVER REST API endpoints, I have gone through few web articals and they state to develop a custom odbc data connetor. I was unsuccessful to achieve (progress.com)

Could you please suggest a working alternative or a solution to achieve this.

Based on my test, it is not possible to meet your requirement currently.There is an idea about that you can vote it up and add your comments there to improve Power BI and make this feature coming sooner.
